Viterbo, via Borgolungo (San Pellegrino district). Votive shrine. The image, signed G. Torquati, recalls the Apotheosis of Santa Rosa del Podesti.
“Santa Rosa da Viterbo” state school. (seat of the socio-psycho-pedagogical and social sciences high school, formerly a teaching institute founded in 1935). Statue of Santa Rosa, 1939 (unknown author). On the base is the inscription ROSAE VIRG. VIT. COELESTI PATRONAE ALUMNI CLIENTULES XII KAL. MAJ. MCMXXXIX XVII (A Rosa Vergine Viterbese celestial patron, the pupils [hers] protected. April 20, 1939 XVII [was a fascist]).
Viterbo, votive shrine. The original painting is lost; it is replaced by a photo of the Apotheosis of Santa Rosa del Podesti located at the Sanctuary of Santa Rosa.
On the top of the door is the statue of Santa Rosa, Patroness of the city, with the coats of arms of Clement XI and Innocenzo X next to it.
Viterbo, votive shrine. The statuette of Santa Rosa holds the roses tight to the chest. The terracotta jug containing the flowers on the shelf, with the name of the Saint, refers to the miracle of the healed jug.
Viterbo. Belcolle Hospital, parking area. Statue of Santa Rosa in basaltina. The work, created by the Renzo Fioco di Bagnoregio company and donated by Mrs. Maria Martini, was inaugurated on March 6, 2008.
